August 22-24, 2014 -- After a busy summer of traveling with friends and family, we booked a quiet trip to Copenhagen in August for just the two of us. This would be our first trip to Scandinavia and we were excited to be visiting during the peak of summer.

July 28 - Aug 15, 2014 -- We had a few weeks to relax, do laundry and try to enjoy the few moments of sunshine that graced Amsterdam in July before Jon's sister arrived. Of all our summer travel plans, hers was the most ambitious... and for good reason; when Jennifer arrived it would be on the heels of finishing school & internships, and days after completing her board exams for her newly acquired 'Doctor' title... Not to mention, she would be in Europe the longest - almost 3 weeks.
